Will be in Boston for TWO DAYS in JANUARY.

We%26#39;ll be there Friday morning and leave Sunday afternoon.

I wamt to do the Freedom Trail and the Sam Adams Brewery Tour. However, other than that and walking around enjoying the city, I don%26#39;t know what else is a MUST.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

I always recommend a trip to Harvard Square... a 10-15 minute ride on the Red Line (from Park St. station)

A good place any time of day for shopping, dining, or even just people-watching.

The ';Musts'; really depend on what you like to do.

The Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardiner Museum, Museum of Science, the Harvard Museums, these would all be excellent choices for a cold January day.

Walk down Newbury St and check out the shops and galleries. The Freedom Trail will take you through the North End, also, which is great for sightseeing, and Italian food.

I%26#39;ll add a few more recommendations to the previous excellent suggestions:

the Quincy Market Area; a Trolley Tour (hop on hop off) for a surface introduction to the city and to orient yourselves; the Prudential Tower for a skyscraper view of the city and the immediate suburbs and the JFK Museum if you are a JFK afficianado or even if you are not.
