lodging in/near Brewster

Hello All,

This is a follow-up to a previous post. I will be in Cape Cod for a wedding at Ocean Edge resort in Brewster (over the 2006 Memorial Day weekend) and am looking for lodging suggestions. I don%26#39;t need luxury or a romantic setting--just clean, safe, relatively close to the wedding, and--here%26#39;s the caveat--preferably 100 dollars or less per night. Thanks for your help!

Hi there Yellow Rose, You got a lot of feedback on your last post of this same question so it%26#39;s kinda unclear as to what more info will help you now. However, just keeping the search to Brewster this time, you might want to check a B%26amp;B called Ruddy Turnstone 800-654-1995 or 508-385-9871. I believe their high season rates don%26#39;t start until June. Low season rates range $95 and up. If you reserve now you might be able to stay until the $100 limit. Remember too that you%26#39;ll have a full breakfast included. You%26#39;ll have a picturesqueview of the bay and the salt marsh too. Hosts are Swanee and Sally Swanson. If they can%26#39;t accommodate you then do ask for their recommendation for something in the area that will work with your budget because the Brewster info. center does not open until April I think.

Check out ';A Beach Breeze Inn';, in West Harwich. They get great reviews and have very reasonable rates, starting as low as $60-$80. Their high season rates don%26#39;t begin until after 6/22, but you%26#39;ll want to get in touch with them soon as the Memorial Day weekend can be busy in the Cape.

As I recall, there are alot of neat %26amp; clean places right around the Eastham / Orleans rotary - most on the bay and pretty small as I recall from the ones I visited. Kinda%26#39; like poster homes for Cape wannabes. :))

I%26#39;m not sure what the Sheraton in Eastham gets, but I stayed ther once in the eighties and it was harmless (with clean rooms, a nice pool, decent A.M. food %26amp; wallet friendly).

Thanks y%26#39;all for your input. I was overwhelmed by all the options (because I couldn%26#39;t narrow down by town); your suggestions are very much appreciated and helpful
