Thanks

The Prudential Center Skywalk Observatory on the 50th floor is your only option. The Hancock Tower%26#39;s observatory on the 60th floor has been closed since 9/11, but there is talk about reopening it to the public.

Best view of Boston

If you want a great (albeit fleeting) view of Boston from a near sea-level perspective, my favorite has always been the westward-facing view of the Charles River from the Red Line subway, between the Charles/MGH and Kendall stations.

Also, the view from the crest of Pinckney St. toward Camridge is really nice.

I used to like the lounge in the air traffic control tower at Logan, but I guess I%26#39;m dating myself...

If you want to eat cheaply (decent menu, but best ';pub grub';) try the Tavern on the Water in the Charlestown Navy Yard. The best view from a cheap dining perspective, casual atmosphere...you won%26#39;t be disappointed.
