We%26#39;re looking to spend around 5 nights of our honeymoon in cape cod but are at a loss to know which area or town to choose.
We obviously want it to be pretty and romatic but also with places to visit and things to do.
Does anyone have any advice?
Where to stay in cape cod?
You sure have come to the right forum. You will find plenty posts and topics when you read back through this board addressing where to stay and what to do. There are plenty of excellent options on Cape Cod. Happy honeymoon!

Pink Lou,
Pick a bridge, any bridge, %26amp; just cross it. I guarantee, they built it, and YOU will come. Need some more info, But as Cape Cod Charlie said: you have come to the right place.
We deliver for you.....

You might want to try the Sea Coast Inn in Hyannis, which I have heard a lot of good things about lately. It is a very nice motel that is owned by a friendly couple who are extremely polite and knowledgable about the area. They sure know how to run a hotel. The place is very well kept and the rooms are large and spotless. Also, this motel is in a very good location and is a hidden gem. If you have any other questions regarding Cape Cod, please feel free to ask. I would strongly suggest staying at the Sea Coast Inn if you plan to stay in Hyannis.
Try our favorite restaurant on the Cape and maybe anywhere...Captain Linnell House in Orleans near Rock Harbor. The chowder is so fantastic, sometimes I get only that. Raises some eyebrows, but it%26#39;s well worth it.
Hello! THe Cape is so wonderful-you are making a good choice. I%26#39;m actually getting married next Summer down there in a town called Chatham which is right on the elbow of the Cape and is surrounded by water on 3 sides. My parents live there so I am partial to the town but I think it is one of the best. I%26#39;m getting married at a place called the Chatham Bars Inn and
A lot depends on the time of year.. can you let us know when you%26#39;ll be on the Cape for your honeymoon? That should make recommendations easier...
pinklou- we too are gonna spend part of our honeymoon on the cape, next april so will keep an eye on this topic.
I also posted a similar request on tehse forums few months back so have a look at that
Hi pinklou,
First you need to know that the cape is not very large and that, with a car, you can enjoy the entire cape taking day-trips from your honeymom accommodations. so you will need to decide if you want a quiet, secluded country setting or an in-town location. You might want to read the post I just sent to dondo about a romantic B+B cottage in the National Seshore. Or, if you want an in-town location read the posts about Chatham. Good luck!
I%26#39;m originally from West Harwich, and when I go home to visit, my family and I stay at the Tern Inn, right off Route 28. If you%26#39;re honeymooning in the summer, you%26#39;ll love the individual cottages on the property -- quite lovely and cozy. They offer a continental breakfast (included in the rates) in the dining room of the historic main inn, and they also have a pool. It%26#39;s a very short drive to the beach (you can walk, if you prefer), and you%26#39;re about mid-Cape, so you don%26#39;t have far to travel to get to Provincetown or Plymouth at either end.
There are several wonderful restaurants right on Route 28, including Bishop%26#39;s Terrace (formal), or if you%26#39;re looking for a burger and fries at lunchtime, try the Weather Deck on the Herring River -- both within walking distance. You can visit the Irish Pub on Herring River, once the home of Capt. Chase (of Chase %26amp; Sanborn coffee fame), to listen to Irish music in the evening (also within walking distance). Lots of wonderful gift shops close by, as well as Harwich Conservation Trust walking trails along the river.
If you%26#39;re more inclined toward clubs, etc., Provincetown is a better choice.
If money is no object you simply must try the Chatham Bars Inn.
They have a fabulous Sunday dinner all you can eat buffet - raw bar, lobster, prime rib, etc., etc.
The place is elegant and the service is impeccable.
