Hey there Adm. Halsey tell all. What happened on your birthday? Did you successfully turn 29 again? Did T and C agree to go with you? Where did you stay, do, eat etc. How was your weather..when did you go? Don%26#39;t be your usual oh so shy self now.

Regrets for the delayed response time. I have been unable the mo of Dec to sit long enough and write a grown-up response.

The Cape trip ';got bagged'; in lieu of two separate trips into NYC.

In October I saw Clapton, Bruce %26amp; Baker at MSG, incurring some unforeseen costs. I%26#39;m assuming that you don%26#39;t have to ask who the band is.

In November a pseudo suprise overnite was thrown for me @ a private club with friends a relatives attending from Maine thru Florida and lots of states in between. What a way to crash thru the five - oh barrier. Upon returning back to CT, it was very difficult to justify a 4 day roadie to the girls - although I was given a ';get out of jail card'; for three days. Just not as much fun doing solo jaunts to the Island as it used to be.

And really, with The Paddock closed, The Lobster Pot winding down and ';local inebretia'; crawling out of their holes and invading the places they dare not tread April thru October....you get it.

I have always loved The Island Oct 15 - Jan 15, it%26#39;s like driving around in your own private country club. Just not solo. Soooooooo....

Now I find myself with tickets to Lincoln Centre for this Friday%26#39;s performance of The Nutcracker @ 2:00, birthday luncheon on Saturday 12/31, and overnite plans for New Year%26#39;s Eve. All courtesy of my daughter, thank you very much.

Thusly ending grandiose plans of a 12/26-01/01 quickie.

Are we noticing a pattern here?
