She likes places that aren%26#39;t fancy and have pretty basic cuisine. Likes Jimmy%26#39;s in Arlington, Sound Bites in Ball Sq, Anna%26#39;s Taqueria in Porter Square, and some Indian place we went to once on Mass Ave.

The New Bridge in Chelsea is still really really good, we were there the other day, it hasn%26#39;t changed ONE iota! The steak tips are still the best around!

Mt. Vernon in Somerville was great last time I was there, but that was many years ago, and I don%26#39;t know if it even still exists.

The Mt. Vernon Restaurant is better than ever, as a matter of fact. My family and I were there after a Funeral just a few weeks ago. I couldn%26#39;t believe how it changed from years ago! It%26#39;s all renovated and it reminds you of an updated Irish pub type atmosphere now. The food is terrific there. I always forget to mention it online!

In Somerville, the Rosebud Diner in Davis Sq. is excellent for basic food, and it has a fun atmosphere as well, and it%26#39;s inexpensive.

Also, Bertucci%26#39;s is a local Italian chain with excellent food. They have wood-fired brick ovens and make really good pizza. They are located in Somerville near Davis Sq., on Main St. in Cambridge (near Central Sq.), and on the Mystic Valley Pkwy in Medford.
