Hotels in Boston

We are planning on travelling to Boston in May (we%26#39;ll be driving down). Can anyone recommend a nice, reasonable hotel to stay at while there? Perhaps one that is centrally located and we could leave our car parked and walk or take local transportation. Thanks.

Hotels in Boston

The Bullfinch Hotel has been great reviews on this site. It%26#39;s in a great location, within easy walking distance to many attractions and also close to public transportation.

The Marriott Long Wharf is across from Quincy Market and is just a short walk from the North End. There%26#39;s Marriott Copley Place in Back Bay which is also a great area to stay.

You really don%26#39;t want to drive in Boston so the best thing to do would be to park and take public transportation.

I agree with this hotel- we stayed with our three children for a great price this summer- it is a very close walk to Boston Common, reedom Trail,Chinatown. We really liked it- nice people, great service, nice rooms with feather pillows/comforters. We will stay again!

Olive...nice suggestions if they have the money for those hotels. Those hotel rates are $250-$400 a night. Heck, for that price, might as well not leave the hotel and make the vacation in your room. Just saying that $400 per night is not worth spending for a hotel just to visit Boston for a week. Your not spending most of your vacation at the hotel, it%26#39;s just a place to sleep. Guys, just save the money and go with the hotel suggestions I mentioned. The Hyatt near Chinatown...well China town is sketchy but the hotel is safe, great location, and near Chinatown. Just use common sense when you go out to somewhere that your not familiar.
