Cape Cod

My husband and I are planning on going to Cape Cod with my 1 year old and my parents in May, can anyone suggest the best town for us to stay in, we like the beach but would also like to stay somewhere where we can walk to nice restaurants etc ideally, I thought of Provincetown but a lot of accomodation won%26#39;t take children. Any suggestions would be great.

Cape Cod

You were on track with P-Town. The town is small enough that you can walk just about anywhere, and there are lots of restaurants and shops.

While there are a large number of B%26amp;B%26#39;s that cater to adults, there are some nice family-oriented options, as well... The Provincetown Inn is located on the beach and has a pool, as well. It%26#39;s at the furthest point of Commercial St., so it%26#39;s more of a walk than many places, but they have free parking, and in May, it won%26#39;t be difficult to navigate P-Town%26#39;s streets and find parking. The town does get busier for Memorial Day weekend, but aside from that, doesn%26#39;t really get packed until late June.

There is also a Best Western, which is closer to the center of town, but not on the beach. Another nice place right on the beach, and in the center of town, is the Bull Ring Wharf. It doesn%26#39;t have a pool, but they do have kitchenettes. I%26#39;ve stayed at all of these, and this would be my first choice of the three for location, parking and amenities.
