but, if the T doesnt go there neither do i. thanks though!
sounds lovelyHi Mando,
For a truly traditional T day dinner, go to Durgin Park restaurant at Quincy Market. They do a great Roast Turkey will all the fixins (stuffing, mashed potatoes, squash, cranberry sauce, etc.). They have great pies and desserts, too. Especially try the Indian Pudding. It%26#39;s a New England tradition.

As for the other places you mentioned, I know I might get slammed for this, but I think Olives is long past it%26#39;s prime and there are many better places to go.
sounds lovelyFor your other restaurants, instead of Olives, try Prezza (Hanover St.) in the North End. It is higher-end modern Northern Italian -- also has a nice bar scene.
I%26#39;d also recommend highly Grotto -- in a funky basement space on Bowdoin St. on the edge of Beacon Hill. Get the gnocci with short ribs and you won%26#39;t be sorry!
Have a great trip.
thanks for the recommendations all. i will check them out. i chose olives and the other places for financial resons. i am trying to stay as budget as possible and can get $25 restaurant.com coupons for $5-10 so that would help. the only thing that was still kinda up in the air was t-day. a buffet kind of sounds good since there are several holiday favorites i am not a huge fan of and i havent been to a good buffet in ages. city search suggests sidney%26#39;s grille. thoughts?
beantown,
i went to durgin park for lunch yesterday. it was YUMMY! the potroast was great. thanks for the suggestion!
