Going to BOston next week. Any ideas on the best italian or seafood locales. thanks!!!
restaurant tips
For great Italian food, head over to the North End, where there are many good restaurants. We like La Summa on Fleet Street---family owned, homemade sauce and pasta. Every time we%26#39;re in town, we make it a point to have at least one meal there. Also, in the North End is Regina%26#39;s on Thatcher Street for great pizza--thin, hand-tossed crust, baked in a coal-fired oven. If you do decide to go to Regina%26#39;s, just note that if you go during peak meal times, the line is literally out the door.
For seafood, I like Legal Seafood--although it is now a chain, it got its start in Inman Square in Cambridge. We%26#39;ve also tried Jasper White%26#39;s Summer Shack by the Pru. I liked their lobster roll and my husband thought that their clam chowder was as good as Legal%26#39;s. Some think that the Summer Shack is too touristy--perhaps--but it is reasonably priced.
restaurant tips
The Brking Crab is excellent for saeafood. Casual setting and dress.
Correction: The Barking Crab.
