Fab Restaurant

Hello,

I hope someone will be able to help. Good friends of mine are moving to Boston to live in February. I would like to get them a restaurant voucher for a really fab restaurant in Boston. I will probably get them ; so if anyone know of any nice fancy restarant could you please post the name?

I will probably get a voucher for $200. As I have never been to Boston (yet!); I don%26#39;t know any good restaurants.

many thanks.

Rosie,

Do you have any idea what they like to eat? It might be easier to make a suggestion.

Meanwhile, I have some ideas for ';special occasion'; places:

Smith and Wollensky Steakhouse

A very popular steakhouse with outstanding beef and seafood. Very expensive, but very good.

thanks so much for all the replies; this really is a great forum. I%26#39;m going to look those restaurants up. thank you. :-)

I went to Sel de la Terre on State St. near the Aquarium this past Saturday and had not only a great meal but a great dining experience thanks to Aldo the waiter.

$200 should cover a full meal with 1-2 bottles of wine (depending on price).

Here%26#39;s a website for Sel de la Terre

If you could specify either kind of restaurant (Chinese, Italian) or the general area around Boston where they%26#39;ll be (N, W, S) that would give people a handle on what to recommend. Always happy to help, you know!
