Hotel help

We%26#39;re going to Boston in February for 4 days and would like any reviews anyone can give on either the John Hancock Hotel%26amp;Conference Center or the Tremont. We stayed at the Park Plaza last year and don%26#39;t want to go back. Thanks!

I believe that the Tremont is now a Courtyard by Marriott. It doesn%26#39;t get the best reviews on here and it wouldn%26#39;t be my first choice for a hotel in Boston. The John Hancock is a rather small hotel in a much better location. It is nothing fancy, just a nice, affordable hotel in a convenient location. Of these two hotels, I would definitely choose the John Hancock. It should be okay as long as you don%26#39;t expect it to be a four or five star hotel.

If neither of those hotels appeal to you, there are plenty of other options. There is a place that I have never heard of but it gets good reviews on here, is the Charlesmark Hotel. Another boutique-style hotel that I have heard lots of really good things about is the Clarion Bulfinch, which opened about a year ago. Also, you might want to check out the Radisson, which has rooms that offer excellent views of the city. Let me know if you have any other questions about these hotels that I have recommended.

Hotel help

Thanks for your help! I was leaning towards the John Hancock for the price. We are coming in for the Extreme Beer Festival again, and are trying to keep our costs down, as we are staying in town for 4 nights this year to do more sightseeing. We stayed at the Park Plaza last year and hated it. It was extremely hot, noisy and the fire alarm went off every day, usually early in the morning. Do you know anything about the Buckminster Hotel or the Commonwealth Court Guest House? They are further away from the Boston Common area, but have great rates for rooms/suites. Appreciate your help. -Jobu

The John Hancock conference center is sparse but very adequate and in Copley Square area near to public trasnsporations, the ';T';. It has limited breakfast and you must be ealry to avoid arriving when everything has been consumed.

The Buckminster has recevied mostly poor reviews on this site.

I do not know anything about the Commmomnwaelth Guest House.

CHeck the reviews on this site under ';hotels'; of voia the search facility.

Thanks for your help. I will look at more reviews.

Stay away from the Courtyard

Its in the highest crime area of Boston

Try

Nine Zero or Parker House great hotels and great value but the best location in Boston
