Hi Eileeno14,

Walk down to the North End for dinner, if you%26#39;re in Boston late in the afternoon then in around 5:00 is when a lot of the restaurants open over there. Just take a walk down Hanover St., Salem St. or North Sq. area and take your pick of restaurants.

Limoncello%26#39;s is on North Sq. near Paul Revere%26#39;s House; as well as #5 North Sq. a few doors up; across the street from these two restaurants heading up North Sq. is Mamma Maria%26#39;s. There%26#39;s quite a lot of them to choose from! You can check them out right here on the Forums or their Dining site for all the ';good'; ones. Every one has great suggestions for them here!

The Cantina on Hanover St. is really good, it%26#39;s one of my uncles favorites, he was born in the North End. I have friends that love Lucca%26#39;s, it%26#39;s on the same side of the street as ';Mike%26#39;s Pastry'; that you have to stop in to for dessert because there cannoli%26#39;s are unbelievably good. The line is long a lot of times out front to get in to the place! That%26#39;s why a lot of people I know will go right over to Modern Pastry on Salem St. instead! Either one is really good!

If you don%26#39;t want to go to the North End for dinner then right at 60 State Street, just as you%26#39;re heading in to the Quincy Market is Houston%26#39;s Restaurant. It%26#39;s very good, it%26#39;s consistant and a fun place to go that we really like! It%26#39;s a chain around the country whatever, it%26#39;s still very good in my book!

If you just want pizza then the Regina%26#39;s Pizzeria on Thatcher St. in the North End is the best in the City. The best chain is Bertucci%26#39;s which is conveniently in the Quincy Market area, you%26#39;ll see it when you%26#39;re walking around there, it%26#39;s just around the corner from Houston%26#39;s.

Have fun!

For holiday attractions:

Walk through the Boston Common in the early evening to absorb the spirit of the holiday season by viewing the lighting display.

For live theater with a holiday theme:

Try ';The Nutcracker'; by the Boston Ballet and The Opera House. Info at:

www.bostonballet.org/nutcracker/default.aspx

Try ';White Christmas'; at the Wang Center. It is a live musical theater presentation based on the original movie, (';Holiday Inn';), with songs composed by Irving Berlin.

For Christmas shows try the Nutcracker by the Boston Ballet. Info at www.bostonballet.org/nutcracker/default.aspx

For another Christmas themed show, try ';White Christmas'; at the Wang Center. It is a live musical theater presentation based on the original movie with songs composed by Irving Berlin.

Just a suggestion but if you want pizza DO NOT go to Rgina%26#39;s. Go to Santarpio%26#39;s in East Boston.Short trip through the tunnel sharp right and you%26#39;re there

Go to Parkers Restaurant or the Last Hurrah at Omni Parker House and its walking distance to the TD Banknorth Garden
