Will it be better to travel by Bus or Hire Car as there are 2 Adults + 2 Children (13 + 15.

Best Way to Travel from Boston To Wrenthen

Hi WhiteCliffs,

If you rent a car you%26#39;ll have the whole day and you can take your time and stay as long as you want. That%26#39;s the beauty of going on your own. If you go by bus, do you mean leave at South Station on one of the larger buses or do you mean a bus with the particular Hotel you plan on staying at? Either way you have to leave when the whole group or you%26#39;ll miss your ride.

If you go to www.premiumoutlets.com and click on directions and transportation, you%26#39;ll see the different modes of transportation offered.

I believe people here have said several times that the Hotels have different deals where they schedule a bus, whether it%26#39;s a large motorcoach or a mini-bus sometimes, that will pick you up for the day and bring you right to the Outlets and then drop you off back at your hotel, later on in the day. You might want to check that out with the concierge at your hotel.

I myself would know I%26#39;d want more time and I%26#39;d absolutely rent a car. It%26#39;s your call with this one, whatever your heart desires!

It also depends on the time of year and the weather around New England too don%26#39;t forget. It just might be a good idea to go by bus if you%26#39;re here in the middle of the winter and if you%26#39;re not used to driving in heavy snow conditions. You%26#39;d have to think about this one! Which as a result, will then be a big part of your planning!

Hi Whitecliffs,

I am going there next Monday. Because the buses leave at 10.00am and returns at 4.00pm it just wasn%26#39;t going to be long enough for me to do my Christmas shopping.

So I have booked a hire car with Auto Europe for 拢28 for the day (inc petrol and additional drivers) so we can spend as long as we want to there - also I can take all those lovely bags back to the car!!

With 4 of you it would be much cheaper to hire a car as well as more flexible.

No doubt however you get there you will have a good day anyway!!

Sarah

Definitely hire a car. We went by the scheduled bus once - and although I felt we had more than enough time there, I would have used the car to visit some other places on route...

Have a great trip - it%26#39;s one of the better outlet malls I%26#39;ve been to in the States! (but don%26#39;t forget that there is LOADS of cheap shopping in Boston and Cambridge too)

Will be there myself in a few weeks (our 10th Christmas Trip to Boston - I just LOVE this city...)
