getaway weekend

We are looking for a very nice, reasonably priced motel, for a romantic weekend(FRI.-SAT.) getaway

getaway weekend

Good morning Dziadzu,

This depends on where you want to stay, you don%26#39;t say, do you want a place in Boston? Cape Cod? NH? Maine?

A LOT of good deals out there for this time of year! Here%26#39;s some examples I%26#39;ll start with Boston of course....

Do you know you can stay at the Copley Sq. Hotel right in the Back Bay for between $100 and $150 a night, and if you go to www.betterbidding.com then www.priceline.com to ANY of these hotels in Boston if that%26#39;s where you want to stay, that you could possibly get a room for $89 a night! It%26#39;s a method that a lot of people swear by, so try that!

The Boston Park Plaza is listing deals for this time of year for $100 to $150 a night, it%26#39;s located right in Park Square at 64 Arlington St., it%26#39;s ideal for the theater district, Boylston St., a Public Gardens/Boston Common stroll, Beacon Hill and Charles St. walks.

If you did%26#39;t want to stay in Boston there%26#39;s a beautiful Mansion that was built in 1903 that was owned at one time by Life Magazine Editor Harold Fowler in the 40%26#39;s called the Manor on Golden Pond, it%26#39;s located on Rte 3 Shepard Hill Rd. in Holderness, NH that is having deals this time of year for $100 to $150 a night. This Inn is QUITE nice. www.manorongoldenpond.com if you wanted to drive to NH instead of staying in Boston for the weekend.

If you wanted to be in Kennebunkport, ME off season? There%26#39;s a deal at the Colony Hotel located at 140 Ocean Ave. it%26#39;s an oceanside huge white Georgian Revival Resort, it%26#39;s got a deal for $100 to $150 a night.

Finally, the last and really good deal I think for under $100 a night...

If you wanted to be out in the Berkshires the Old Inn on the Green %26amp; Gedney Farm located at Rte 57 in New Marlborough, MA.

Take your pick and enjoy your weekend. As far as staying at a Motel either on the Cape, in around Boston, NH or Maine? I%26#39;m sure you could get a deal for this time of year where it%26#39;s off season for them all. Quite a lot of the Motels close completely for the winter though, you%26#39;d have to look online for a chain type motel corporation that stays open all year!
